Congress overrules President Obama's veto of the bill allowing 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia.
Yesterday congress overruled President Obama's veto of a bill allowing September 11th victims to sue Saudi Arabia. He warns the bill could spell trouble for the U.S as possible court decisions could be made against the U.S by other countries of the bill were to pass.
The bill has been put into law allowing victims of the terrorist attack to sue Saudi Arabia for helping in the plot of the September 11th attacks.
Members of the Obama Administration are already out showing their disapproval and planning to weaken the bill with whatever power they can. The bill was passed overwhelmingly passed with the senate voting 91 to 1 and the house voting 348 to 77. This is the first time that congress has overruled President Obama's decision since his election in 2008.
